Who: Junior Varsity is a house team from the Magnet Theater in NYC. They were formed by the theater's founder Armando Diaz in 2007 and have performed in over 20 improv festivals in that time. Junior Varsity is known for their fun, energy and devastating good looks. Junior Varsity is Jarret Berenstein, Kevin Cragg, Megan Gray, Jamie Rivera, and Shawn Wickens.
What: Junior Varsity plays a modified Harold that begins with individual character monologues which invite other characters into their worlds. From there, the piece collides into an extended series of callbacks, imploding the created world on itself. Relationships, abstractions and absurdity are melded into one rockin' whole.
