Who: 1matchfire, a husband and wife longform improv team out of Rochester, NY, has adopted a slow comedy style where the scenes are full of fun discoveries and all kinds of emotions — appropriate and otherwise.
What: Another Opening – We open with a line and do a scene, when that scene comes to a natural close, we start another scene with the same line but new characters in a new situation. And perhaps we'll add in a third completely new scene based on the same line (depends on set length). In the subsequent beats, the three sets of characters and situations all intertwine.
